Home Group and cell is a fantastic way to get together, meet new people and share experiences. Everyone is at differnt points in their spiritual journey and it’s a great opportunity to reflect and hear stories from others in a welcoming space. with the chaos and busyness of life, it’s another chance to pause, open your mind and heart and learn and share God’s word with others from the Glenabbey family.

I enjoy Home Group as, although there are many different personalities, interests and stages of life represented we are all united in our desire to see one another grow in our walk with God. I find encouragement from sharing and hearing from others in the group about how scripture is to be applied to real life scenarios and challenges.

I stepped out of Home Group when my Dad was ill and then passed away. I needed this time away to rest. However after some time I felt disconnected from my church family. Rejoining Home Group gave me back that connection. Home Group gave me back my church family.

As a member of a Home Group, I have not only been impacted spiritually with regards my faith, but I have also been impacted by the genuine Christian love and support put into action during challenging circumstances in my personal life.

[Home Group] Cell is so important to me. It’s a community of women I could not do life without. With Glenabbey being so big I rely heavily on our small group settings. I encourage everyone to get involved in one and see how they can benefit and serve throughout.

For me Home Group and Cell provide a family within the larger Glenabbey family. We support each other during times of difficulty. My favourite aspect of Home Group and Cell is the Bible Study and fellowship within my womans cell group.
